In the lead up to the 2015 General Election, Dimensions Cymru organised an “Ask your Question” event at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay. A number of people, from all areas of welsh life (business, Assembly Members, MPs and social interest) formed a panel, so that people with learning difficulties could ask questions that they felt were important to them. The questions ranged from personal (care) assistance and disability adaptations in the home through to disability hate crime. If only some of the people responsible for PR in the General Election had been there, I feel sure they would have been enlightened as to what people were really concerned about.
